It's been about four years since I've seen my mother. My wedding day, May 19th 2007, to be exact. Many people ask me how that makes me feel. I reply, I never really knew her so it's not that I miss that person. However, I do miss having a mother figure. I was so thankful to have my best friend to go wedding dress shopping with me but I wonder how it would have been to have my mother.
